Bangkok Commute!

This is my daily commute in Bangkok. 100,000's of Bangkokians use motorcycle taxis get to and from work everyday. Most of the time "motosai" trips and short bursts of necessity to head down a soi to connect with a major transport network whether it be BTS, MRT or even a taxi. But for a great many the "motosai's are the fastest way to get from oneside of the city to other magically weaving through the "rot dtitt" (traffic jam). I took a few clips. In this clip the motosai pushes along Rama IV. Having turned down Thanon Witthayu (Wireless Road) the motosai driver begins to push through the traffic and does a nice job of getting to front of the intersection. Just before the light goes green all the motosai's will scream out in a frantic race to the next red light.

In this next clip you can see very clearly at 27 sec a big white apartment building. That's my building.

To be fair, I like a little more oxygen in my lead laced carbonmonoxide fix. So I usually take the skytrain. These clips were taken as I rushed to get home for a football match.
