I've Been Chosen as an Extra in the Movie Adaptation of the Sequel to My Life

Yep, Pavement.

It's hard to talk about this band. I mean, I slowly bought their whole catalogue on CD between the ages of 18-21. They have an interesting low-fi sound and would generally end up being labelled indierock or shoe gazing.

But they are more complex than that. Interestingly enough I used to listen to this band alone most of the time. I just found their sound very non-assuming in an almost comforting kind of way. Sometimes their records were pretty far out there in an almost prog rock way. Some of it was gold.... some of it wasn't.

This track is called "Cut Your Hair" from their 2nd LP Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain.

1.35 until 2.30 is awesome!

But Lollapalooza didn't like them!

Check out Steve flipping the bird and mooning the crowd... hilarious but a shame for Pavement fans.
